Pax tecum
Dear Bro and Sis,

Allow me a newbie here to ask your help and guidance, for I am just new to this forum.

It's about the rosary.

Beforehand, I'd like to thank to Bro Philly for providing the English prayers and a useful link for prayers in English.

Philly wrote:
Here are the modern version:
Quote:
Our Father
Our Father in heaven
Holy be your name
Your kingdom come
Your will be done
On earth as in heaven
Give us today our daily bread
Forgive us our sins
As we forgive thouse who sins against us
Do not bring us to the test but deliver us from evil
(For the kingdom, the power and the glory are Yours, now and forever)
Amen

Hail Mary
Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with you
Blessed are you among women
And blessed is the fruit of your womb Jesus
Holy Mary, mother of God, pray for us sinners
Now and at the hour of our death.
Amen

Glory be
Glory be to the Father, to the Son and to the Holy Spirit
As it was in the beginning, is now and ever shall be, world without end.
Amen

And here are the traditional version:
Quote:
Our Father
Our Father, Who art in Heaven, hallowed be
Thy Name. Thy Kingdom come. Thy Will be done,
on earth, as it is in Heaven. Give us this day our
daily bread and forgive us our trespasses as we
forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us
not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

Hail Mary
Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is
the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners,
now, and at the hour of our death. Amen.

Glory be
Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit, as it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.

But I'm still wondering about a few parts of the Rosary in Bahasa Indonesia especially these parts:

a. Salam Putri Allah Bapa, Salam Maria...
b. Salam Bunda Allah Putra, Salam Maria...
c. Salam Mempelai Allah Roh Kudus, Salam Maria...
d. Terpujilah nama Yesus, Maria dan Yosep untuk selama-lamanya

I cannot find these parts in the Rosary in English.
Could anybody here help me with the English translation of the parts of the rosary above? Or maybe to share any explanations about them?

Well, I do apologize if my questions about the English translation of the Indonesian rosary parts here are just small things or maybe a repost topic.

Bro and sis, help and guidance from you all are really appreciated.

Thanx

GBUA

I think English version uses only Hail Mary prayer for these three beads.

in Indonesian version you have quoated above there is small modification inspired by salutation to Mary prayer of St. John Eudes where found in a book belonging to St. Margret Mary. here is the prayer :

Quote:

Hail Mary! Daughter of God the Father, Hail Mary! Mother of God the Son, Hail Mary! Spouse of God the Holy Ghost, Hail Mary! Temple of the Most Blessed Trinity, Hail Mary! Celestial Rose of the ineffable love of God. Hail Mary! Virgin pure and humble, of whom the King of Heaven willed to be born and with thy milk to be nourished. Hail Mary! Virgin of virgins, Hail Mary! Queen of Martyrs, whose soul a sword transfixed, Hail Mary! Lady most Blessed! unto whom all power in Heaven and earth is given, Hail Mary! my Queen and my Mother! my Life, my Sweetness, and my Hope, Hail Mary! Mother most Amiable, Hail Mary! Mother most Admirable, Hail Mary! Mother of Divine Love, Hail Mary! IMMACULATE; Conceived without sin! Hail Mary! Full of Grace! the Lord is with thee! Blessed art thou among women! And blessed is the Fruit of thy womb, JESUS! Blessed by thy Spouse, St. Joseph, Blessed by thy Father, St. Joachim, Blessed by thy Mother, St. Anne, Blessed by thy Guardian, St. John, Blessed by thy Holy Angel, St. Gabriel, Glory be to God the Father, who chose thee, Glory be to God the Son, who loved thee, Glory be to God the Holy Ghost, who espoused thee, Glorious Virgin Mary, may all men love and praise thee, Holy Mary, Mother of God! pray for us and bless us, now and at death in the Name of JESUS, thy Divine Son!

Quote:

d. Terpujilah nama Yesus, Maria dan Yosep untuk selama-lamanya

'Blessed be the Holy Names of Jesus, Mary and Joseph now and forevermore'

I believe the words inspired by Novena, prayer or devotion to the holy family.. or probably from this holy family chaplet

Quote:

Holy Family Chaplet

Jesus, Mary, and Joseph, I give you my heart.
Jesus, Mary, and Joseph, be with me in my last hour.
Jesus, Mary, and Joseph, may I breathe forth my soul
in peace with you.

Blessed be Jesus Christ, true God and true man.
Blessed be the great Mother of God, Mary most holy.
Blessed be St. Joseph, her most chaste spouse. Amen.

hope it helps..
